Martha J. Donaldson's Obituary
Martha Jean Donaldson (nee Barnette), age 82, of Grafton, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic in Avon.
She was born in Weston, West Virginia and has been a resident of Grafton, Elyria and Columbia Station areas for 53 years.
She attended Elyria Baptist Church on Washington Ave.
Martha was a very giving person who enjoyed gospel music and reading her Bible before bed. She loved to cook and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Beverly (Bob) Smalley of Grafton, Brenda (Jesse) Meador of LaGrange, Brian (Carolyn) Donaldson of LaGrange; grandchildren, Dawn (Todd) Daniels, Brittney and Brianna Donaldson; great-grandchildren, Devon Smalley, Jacob Weir, Liam and Hadlee Cyrus; one-great-grandchild on the way; brothers, James (Debbie) Barnette of North Carolina, David Barnette of Elyria; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis “Bill” E. Donaldson; parents, Ernest and Mary (nee Carpenter) Barnette; brothers, Paul, Ray Jr. and Bobby Barnette.
Friends may call Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 12PM until the time of Memorial Service at 1PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Andrew Goins will officiate.
Interment will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Twp.
