Mark E. Osbun's Obituary
Mark E. Osbun, age 45, of Reading, Ohio, passed away suddenly at his home on January 15, 2015.
He was born on July 23, 1969 in Elyria and grew up in Columbia Station and Grafton before moving to Reading two years ago.
Mark served in the U.S. Navy from 1987-1990. He worked as a press operator for the Ford Motor Company in Sharonsville, Ohio and was a member of U.A.W. Local 863.
He loved to play darts, riding his Harley, NASCAR, working on his cars, but most of all, just truly enjoyed life.
He is survived by his children Joshua, Sierra and Dakota Osbun, all of Elyria; parents John E. Jr. and Joyce Lynn (nee McCune) Osbun of Vermilion; brother Ken D. of Elyria; sister Christina M. (Tommy) Broeckel of Crossville, TN; grandfather Roscoe F. McCune of Columbia Station.
Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents John Sr. and Mary Osbun and Norma McCune.
Memorial Visitation Thursday, January 22 from 6-8 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville. Inurnment with full military honors by V.F.W. Post 1079, Elyria on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter Cemetery, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
