Marilyn J. Steffl's Obituary
Marilyn Jean Steffl (nee Fahrney), age 85, of Olmsted Falls, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic in Avon after a short illness.
She was born in South Amherst, lived the majority of her life in Amherst, and has been a resident of Olmsted Falls for the past 4 years, moving from Elyria.
Marilyn worked as the head cook for Shupe School in Amherst for 25 years.
She enjoyed puzzles, cooking, socializing with friends, being with family, traveling and being involved with her happy hour group.
Survivors include her children, Leonard (Mark Schlick) Stupak, Craig (Cindy) Steffl, Vicki (Ken) Rumpler, Travis (Michelle) Steffl, grandchildren, Chase, Jessica, Cody, Kamryn, Kailyn and Kadeyn, great-grandchildren, Harper, Ellie and Tate, sister, Jacqueline Wheland.
She was preceded in death by her beloved first husband, Leonard P. Stupak of 24 year and her beloved second husband, Larry A. Steffl of 27 years, parents, Edward and Bertha (nee Frohoffer) Fahrney and brother, Jon Fahrney.
Friends may call Monday from 4PM until the time of services at 6PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Jeff Conley will officiate.
