Dear Bill and Family,

I was so very sorry to hear about the passing of your beautiful mother. Please know that you and your sisters are in my heart and prayers during this difficult time.

I had hoped to attend the Mass, but I’m still recovering from my knee replacement. Even so, I’ve been thinking of you and remembering what a special family you have. I’ll never forget how proud your parents always were of you, or all the fun memories we shared back in high school.

Please take care, and know that I will visit your parents each time I visit my father at the cemetery — they are neighbors now. 💕💕

Marilyn Doslak was like a second mother to me while I was growing up on Archwood Avenue in Lorain during the 1970s. She raised a wonderful family, and her son Bill became my lifelong best friend. I feel truly blessed to have been a small part of Marilyn’s life and will always cherish the memory of asking, “Hey Mrs. Doslak, can Billy come out and play?” With love and heartfelt remembrance,
