Mariella Marr's Obituary
Mariella Marr (nee Coller), age 90, passed away on July 23, 2014 at the Northridge Health Center in North Ridgeville after a lengthy illness.
She was born on June 29, 1924 in Buffalo, New York and has been a resident of North Ridgeville since 2003, moving from Cape Cod, Massachusetts and Westlake.
She retired from Lakewood High School in 1978 where she had worked as a teacher’s aid in the Biology Department for 16 years. She was also a longtime member of the First United Church of Christ in Lakewood.
Mariella loved quilting, and was a member of the Quilters Guild of Northeast Ohio.
Beloved mother of daughter Diane Leonard of Rome, NY; sons William Marr of Peninsula, OH, James Marr of Medina, OH and David Marr of Eastham, MA; blessed with many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Joanne (Richard) Midlik of New York
Mariella was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Morley; parents Walter and Margaret (nee Oelkers) Coller; brother Berton Coller.
Private family services will be held.
