Marie Maley's Obituary
Marie Maley (nee Kurek), age 94, of Lakewood, died Friday at North Ridge Health Center following a long illness.
She was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of Cleveland before moving to Lakewood in 1994..
Mrs. Maley worked as a seamstress for Sherman Clothes, of Cleveland and retired in 1958. She enjoyed sewing, bowling and taking care of her family..
Survivors include her daughter; Carole Erdman, of Wilmington, OH; daughter-in-law, Julie Maley, of North Ridgeville; grandchildren, Anthony, Carol, Kathleen, Michael, David and Kristen; great-grandchildren, Kimberly, Gerald, Brian, Anthony, Jason and Adam; brother, Edward Kurek, of Ft. Myers, FL.. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles; son, Gerald; her parents, William and Frances Kurek; brothers John and Al; sisters, Frances, Jeanette and Bertha.
Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville; where prayers will be said at 9:30 AM on Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at Saint Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Reverend Stephen Kaminski, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in Saint Peter Cemetery.
