Marie Klein's Obituary
Marie L. Klein (nee Gilgenbach), age 90, passed quietly away on October 9, 2012 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake.
She was born on May 23, 1922 in North Ridgeville, and has lived in Westlake for the past 44 years, moving from California and North Ridgeville.
Marie was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville, and was the organist there for many years, as well as St. Clarence Church in North Olmsted. When she wasn't engaging in a card game of "66" with her friends, Marie could be found tending to her roses in her garden, which was one of her favorite summer activities.
She is survived by her sons John Klein of Cave Creek, AZ, Larry (Judy) Tracey of Buckeye, AZ, John (Nancy) Kaczmarczyk of Olathe, KS and Raymond Kaczmarczyk of Westlake; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister Gertrude Hepner of Toledo.
Marie was preceded in death by husbands Lawrence Tracey Sr. in 1951, John Kaczmarczyk in 1959 and Frank Klein Jr. in 1987; daughter Mary Tracey; parents William and Barbara (nee Oedy) Gilgenbach; brothers Elmer, Cletus and Bernard Gilgenbach; sisters Louella Janssen, Beatrice Tipple, Rita Schartman and Delphine Hall.
Friends may call on Friday from 5-8PM p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville. A prayer service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville. Rev. Bob Sanson will be the celebrant. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
