Maria de Lourdes Gamper de Dorantes' Obituary
Maria De Lourdes Dorantes, age 91, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 11, 2024, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Mexico and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 2013, moving from Lakewood where she resided for most of her life.
She worked as a teacher for Cleveland City Schools for over 30 years.
Survivors include her husband, Jorge Dorantes, children, Jorge (Dulce) Dorantes of Westlake, Martha Charnigo of North Ridgeville, Maria De Lourdes Dorantes of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Abelardo (Anne) Dorantes of North Ridgeville, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and sisters, Enriqueta Gamper Gomez of Mexico and Martha (Francisco) Gamper Longoria of Miami, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guillermo and Enriqueta Gamper and her two brothers, Guillermo and Miguel Angel Gamper.
Friends may call Monday, July 15, 2024 from 3-7PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday at 9:30AM in the funeral home followed by a 10AM Mass at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd. Rev. Isidore Munishi will be the celebrant.
Private burial will be at St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
