Margaret Tomcik's Obituary
Margaret B. Tomcik, (nee Bednar), age 96, of Elyria passed away Saturday May 22, 2010 at Life Care Center in Elyria.
She was born in Horatio, PA. She had resided in Elyria the past six years after moving from Richmond Heights.
Mrs. Tomcik had worked as a clerk for Cuyahoga County Treasure Dept. for over 20years, retiring in 1978.
She is survived by her daughter Geraldine (Richard) Linnevers, son Bruce (Sarah) Tomcik all of North Ridgeville, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen, parents Joseph and Elizabeth Bednar, and four brothers John, Joseph, Emery and Steven Bednar.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, N. Ridgeville, where a prayer service will be held 10 AM Friday followed by 10:30 AM Mass at St. Peter Church 35777 Center Ridge Road N. Ridgeville. Reverend Bob Franco, Pastor will be the celebrant. Committal Service will take place at 2:30 PM Friday at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
