Margaret W. Pope's Obituary
Margaret W. “Marge” Pope, age 76, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at St. John’s Medical Center in Westlake. She was born August 16, 1949, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, but has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 41 years. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years before retiring in 2005. Marge was also a devoted member of Harvest Ridge Church in North Ridgeville and worked as a Sunday school teacher. In her free time, she enjoyed serving in her local Women Helping Women Ladies Group, sunset cruising in the convertible, having camping adventures, sharing her love of cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Marge is survived by her husband, Glenn Pope, of North Ridgeville, daughters Charlotte (Carl) Forrider, of Sheffield Lake, Jennifer (Dave) Elswick, of Elyria, grandchildren Alyssa (Angel) Ballard, of Elyria, Kayla (Zach) Elswick, of Elyria, Cody (Lindsay) Blodgett, of North Ridgeville, Tyler (Natalee) Blodgett, of North Ridgeville, Adrian Forrider of New London and Elaina (Alex) Mills of New London; great-granddaughter Vivian Ballard.
She was preceded in death by her parents Vera Whitehead and Alva Clay Lamkin.
Funeral Service Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Kevin Crow will officiate. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
