Margaret M. Brown's Obituary
Margaret M. Brown (nee Hill), age 70, of Elyria, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center following a short illness.
She was born in Abington, Virginia and had spent most of her life in Elyria moving from Shady Valley, Tennessee.
Margaret was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Elyria.
She enjoyed baking, watching her grandchildren play sports, sewing, spending time with her family and being active in her church.
Survivors include her sons, Chaz, Michael and Wendell (Jen) Brown all of Elyria; grandchildren, Kristina (Brett) Brown-Wondrak, Ashley, Michele, Madison, Cambrie, Andy and Alex Brown; great-granddaughter, Eva Jacobs; sisters, Carolina (R.D.) Garland and Azona Blevins of Tennessee, Hazel (Jim) Watkins of Twinsburg, Annabell Manning of Elyria; brother, Joe (Cathy) Hill of Tennessee; many nieces and nephews and sister-in law, Mary Hill of North Olmsted.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas in 2004; parents, Walter and Alice (nee Shepherd) Hill; brothers, AJ and Cecil Hill; brothers-in-law, Barry Blevins and Okey Manning.
Friends may call Monday from 11AM until the time of services at 1PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Chuck Keesee will officiate.
Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
