Margaret J. Adams' Obituary
Margaret J. Adams (nee Graham), age 78, of Pensacola, Florida (formerly of Elyria), passed away Monday, March 24, 2014, after a long battle with Parkinson’s.
She was born June 1, 1935 in Lorain and spent most of her life in Elyria before moving to Pensacola, where she resided with her daughter the last 4 years.
She was a member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church for 43 years. She loved to sing in the choir and work in the nursery. She also loved to read, play games, watch TV, especially game shows, spend time with her grandchildren, iron and listen to Christian radio stations. Her last employment was at Marc’s in Elyria as a cashier.
She was preceded in death by her dear husband of 53 years, Walter E. Adams; her mother, Ada Graham; father, Hugh Graham; daughter, Lois; sons, Walter and Raymond; sisters, Annabelle Poltrone and Shirley Landy; brother, Buddy; several brothers and sisters -in-law; a nephew, Jim Landy.
She is survived by her daughters, Debra (John) Wilbert of Pensacola, Florida, Christine (Rodger) Tanner of Elyria; grandchildren, John Wilbert of Milton, FL, Mindy Walker of Pensacola; great-grandchildren, Brenden and Brittany Walker of Pensacola; sister-in-law, Minnie Machnauer of Elyria; many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Saturday from 11 AM until the time of services at 1PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Darrell Myers will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
