Marcella L. Fiala's Obituary
Marcella L. Fiala (nee Conrad), age 98, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at O'Neill Healthcare in North Ridgeville after a lengthy illness.
She was born on October 29, 1919 in Cleveland and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 14 years, moving from Cleveland. She worked as a seamstress at Joseph and Feiss for over 30 years, retiring in 1986. She is a member of St. Peter Church and a former parishioner at St. Procop Church in Cleveland.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, playing the accordion and loved animals, especially her cats.
She is survived by her daughter Sandra Pawlak of North Ridgeville and many nieces and nephews.
Marcella was preceded in death by her husband Charles Fiala; son Robert Fiala; son-in- law Philip Pawlak; parents Frank and Netti (nee Stasney) Conrad; sisters Alice Wrahse and Florence Lepish; brother Frank Conrad.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of a 12:30 prayer service, preceding a 1:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Bob Franco will officiate. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park.
