Mandy L Pless' Obituary
Born on November 20, 1977, in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, Mandy was raised in Minot, North Dakota, where she graduated from Minot High School in 1997. During her childhood, she was actively involved in the Mouse River Players community theater, where her creativity and love for the arts began to shine.
In 2003, Mandy married the love of her life, Brad Pless. Together they built a beautiful life in North Ridgeville, Ohio, where Mandy worked as a paraprofessional at North Ridgeville High Tech Academy where she poured her heart into helping others. She had a natural gift for connecting with people and made a lasting difference in the lives of students and colleagues alike.
More than anything, Amanda was a devoted and loving mother. Her world revolved around her two beautiful daughters, Mackenzie and Alex, who were her greatest pride, her purpose, and the center of her heart.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Brad; her daughters, Mackenzie and Alex; her parents, Dave and Lee Popp of Pennsylvania; her in-laws, Rodney and Deborah Pless of Alabama; her brother, Rob Nuzzo (Farrah) of Pennsylvania; her sister-in-law, Kelsey Sims (Jason) of Alabama; and several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Mandy will be remembered as a true force. She was full of life, love, and unmistakable personality. She lived in what could only be described as “organized chaos,” always creating, always giving, always moving forward. She loved more deeply than most and showed that love in everything she did. Whether she was bedazzling a dance costume, trying something new, laughing with friends, or striking up a conversation with someone she had just met, Mandy made people feel seen, welcomed, and valued.
She was beautifully quirky, endlessly kind, and always the one ready to help anyone who needed it. She found joy in the little things and made memories everywhere she went, often capturing them like a tourist, never wanting to miss a single moment.
Mandy’s strength, especially throughout her long fight, was nothing short of extraordinary. But even more powerful was her love…the kind that stays with you, shapes you, and never fades.
She fought with strength, lived with purpose, and loved in a way that will never be forgotten. That love does not end here. It lives on in every life she touched, every memory she created, and most of all, in her daughters, who carry her heart forward.
Friends may call at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, on Friday, April 17, from 5-7 PM. A memorial service will be held for Mandy at 7 PM at the funeral home.
