Mabel Cooley's Obituary
Mabel M. Cooley (nee Short), 76, of Westlake went home to the Lord Wednesday December 30, 2009.
Mabel moved to the Cleveland area from WV. She had worked as a teacher's aide for Cleveland Public Schools and as an STNA for the Visiting Nurses Association and All For You Healthcare, also in Cleveland. A woman of strong faith, she had attended House of Prayer, Cleveland, and enjoyed sharing the ministry of her church with everyone.
Surviving are four sons, James, Roy, Jack and Eddie; daughter, Brenda; four siblings; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene in 2004 and parents, Aubert and Myle Short.
Visitation will be from 1-3 and 6-8PM Friday at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Further visitation will be from 10AM Saturday until the time of service at 11AM also at the funeral home. Rev. Billy R. Hicks will officiate. Burial to follow in Ridgeville Cemetery, North Ridgeville. If desired, memorial donations have been suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
