Lynn Marguerite Gorzki's Obituary
Lynn Marguerite Gorzki (nee Prough), age 68, of North Ridgeville, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 15, 2017 after over a three year battle with colon cancer.
She was born on July 16, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 40 years, moving from Cleveland. She worked as an executive secretary for Price Waterhouse and was a member of St. Peter Church in North Ridgeville.
Lynn lived for her family, and found her greatest joy in life in spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also traveled extensively and enjoyed going on vacations to the beach. She went on many cruises, was an avid camper and loved to golf.
She is survived by her husband of just shy of 45 years, Daryl; daughters Noelle (Lance) Barber of Sanford, N.C. and Nicolle Gorzki of North Ridgeville; grandchildren Tyler, Taylor and Troy; sisters Marcelle (Leonard) Stone and Dana (Brian) Rayburn; brother Jeff (Beth) Prough; sister in law Kathy Prough; many nieces and nephews.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents Wallace and Frances (nee Trombley) Prough; brother Wally Prough.
Memorial Service Saturday, October 21 at 3:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of Service. Rev. Bob Franco will be the celebrant. Interment will be private.
