Lynda Lee Krueger's Obituary
Lynda Lee Krueger (nee Lewis), age 74, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 at the St. John Medical Center in Westlake.
She was born on September 22,1946 in Cleveland and has been a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville. Lynda worked as a certified pharmacy technician at St. John Westshore Hospital, retiring in 2004.
Being the wife of a longtime musician, she thoroughly enjoyed music and dancing. She never missed an opportunity to spread joy and laughter. Among many of her favorite past times, she enjoyed traveling, skiing, her dogs, and socializing with those she held dear. One of her lasting phrases that she sang to us regularly was, "It is what it is, and a whoop de doo" which will always remain an encouraging life lesson.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Gerald W. Krueger; daughters Denise (Sean) Shuffler of GA, Michelle (David) Valega of North Ridgeville, Kristin (Chris) Lambert of North Ridgeville, Kimberly (John) Herbst of Grafton, Lori Krueger of Elyria; son Timothy (Kim) Krueger of NC; 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters Donna (Mike) Brandon and Carol (Steve) Nagy; many nieces and nephews; and dear friend Etta Massey.
Lynda was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Ruth (nee Urban) Lewis; daughter Lisa Jones and grandson Stephen Krueger.
Lynda’s family would like to give a special thank you to the compassionate and caring staff at The Renaissance in Olmsted Falls.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville on Monday 5-8 p.m. and on Tuesday for a 9:30 a.m. prayer service preceding a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville. Rev. Bob Franco will officiate. Interment will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 23215 Commerce Park STE 300, Beachwood, OH 44122.
