Lucille J. Kohler's Obituary
Lucille J. Kohler, age 81, of Elyria, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at her home.
She was born in Lorain and had been a resident of Elyria since 1980, moving from the Lorain and Sheffield Twp. areas.
Lucille worked as a secretary for the Bureau of Vocational and Rehabilitation Commission for 20 years, retiring in 1998. She also worked in the evenings at the Murray Ridge group home from 1978-1992.
She was a Cleveland Indians fan and loved animals. She enjoyed taking care of each of her dogs and taking them for drives. She also took care of the neighborhood cats. Lucille had a great sense of humor.
She is survived her sister, Sr. Helen Kohler of Monroe, Michigan; several nieces and nephews including her niece, Joan (Mike) Haag, whom she helped raise, of Ruckersville, Virginia; great nieces and nephews, Christopher, Heather and Matthew; 4 great-great nephews; dear friend and neighbor, Ray Kelley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rose (nee Lambur) Kohler; sisters, Dorothy Fields and Beatrice Kohler; brothers, Arthur and Francis Kohler.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-4PM and on Monday from 9:30AM until the time of services at 10:30AM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville.
Rev. Donald Dunson will officiate.
Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
