Louis Majlinger's Obituary
Louis Majlinger, age 88, of Carlisle Township, passed away at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake on July 14, 2014 after a lengthy illness.
He was born on August 7, 1925 in Zalabesenyo, Hungary and came to the United States in 1959. He has lived in Carlisle Township for the past 6 years, moving from North Olmsted and North Ridgeville.
He worked as a welder/fabricator at Metal Equipment Company in Westlake, retiring in 1984.
Louis was a man who was rarely idle, and could often be found tinkering in his workshop, fabricating different items which he would use around his home. He enjoyed making wine with his family and riding horses and four wheelers around his property with his great grandson Trevor. He would often meet with his dear friends, “The Old Men’s Club”, and his message to them is: “I will always be with you…”
He is survived by his son Frank (Sue) Majlinger of North Olmsted, grandson Dave (Laurie) Majlinger of Elyria and great grandson Trevor Majlinger of Elyria.
He was preceded in death by his wife Anna in 1989; parents Ferenc and Maria (nee Joo) Majlinger.
