I always enjoyed the conversations and time spent with Lou at K of C functions. When I lived in North Ridgeville I would stop by his house every once in a while just to say hello, but would end up spending about an hour or more talking about our faith, families, and life in general. Sorry to say we won't be able to attend the visitation or funeral but will be there in spirit, continuing to pray for Lou, Jean and their family. Vivat Jesus!
I was just thinking of Lou, the photographer and friend who I haven't seen in many years. I still have a photo of wildlife taken by Lou who use to tell people he hunted with a camera. 93 years old, how time flies. RIP, Lou.

I'll always remember Lou's smile & his willingness to help me learn more about raptors, especially the time he took me to view an eagle's nest.
My mentor and one of my best friends ever. I learned so much about photography and enjoyed sharing such truly wonderful conversations. Lou had so many life experiences zoo keeper, lion tamer, raptor specialist. He loved his catholic faith and devotion to Padre Pio. Patty and I loved him very much. Addio amico mio.
