Louis Finegan's Obituary
Louis G. "Puff" Finegan, 76, of Grafton died on Monday, January 15, 2007 at his residence following a long illness.
He was born July 13, 1930 in North Ridgeville. He had lived in Grafton the past six years having moved from Eaton Township.
Mr. Finegan graduated from North Ridgeville High School.
He was a heavy equipment operator and had worked 25 years for Griffith Blacktop and then at BFI for 10 years from where he retired in 1989.
He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers-Local 18.
He enjoyed showing horses, hunting, fishing and tinkering with tractors.
Surviving are three daughters; Lu Ann Ensign, of Elyria, Colleen (Thompson) Taylor of Eaton Township, and Rebecca Finegan, also of Eaton Township; son, Mark, Finegan, of North Ridgeville; five grandchildren; sister, Thelma Jalowiec of North Ridgeville and his favorite dog, "ROCKY".
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Emily (nee Barnes) Finegan; sister, Ruth Simkovich and brother, Theodore Finegan.
Friends will be received on Saturday, January 20, 2007 from 10:00 AM until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 AM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Reverend Chuck Behrens, will officiate.
