Lorraine Herron's Obituary
Lorraine D. Herron (nee Thomas), 80, of North Ridgeville, died Friday November 28, 2008 at EMH Regional Medical Center following a long illness.
Mrs. Herron had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1959. She retired in 1981 following twenty years of service with Dover Nursing Home, Westlake as an LPN. She was a member of St. Peter Church, North Ridgeville, and enjoyed dancing, crocheting, bowling, refurbishing old dolls and knitting afghans.
Surviving is a son, James of North Ridgeville; four daughters, Carol Gray of North Ridgeville, Terri Gest of Lorain, Susan Davis (Michael) of North Ridgeville and Donna Sewell (Michael) of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James; parents, Harrison and Emma Thomas; five sisters, Lodema Cozzens, Harriet McCue, Gertrude Schaeffer, Dolores Martin and Mary Tyuluman and brother, Calvin Thomas.
Visitation Sunday from 2-6PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, where prayer services will be held at 9:30AM Monday. Funeral Mass 10AM Monday at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Stephen Kaminski, pastor will be the celebrant. Burial to follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
