Loretta T. "Lorrie" Ternes' Obituary
Loretta T. “Lorrie” Ternes (nee Kuczmarski), age 70, of Eaton Twp., passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015 at University Hospital in Cleveland.
She was born in Independence and had been a resident of Elyria, where she spent most of her life.
Lorrie received her Nursing Degree at MB Johnson School of Nursing.
She worked as a Surgical Nurse at Southwest General Hospital for 35 years.
She was a long time member of St. Peter Church in North Ridgeville, where she was involved with the Mother‘s Club and Vacation Bible School. She also attended Our Lady Queen of Peace. She was active with the North Ridgeville Arts Council for many years and enjoyed volunteering for Lorain County Metro Parks, traveling, boating, flower gardening, entertaining and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Pete; son, Matthew of Eaton Twp.; daughter, Andrea Ternes of Eaton Twp.; brothers, Ed (Candace) Kuczmarski of Evanston, Illinois, Bob (Marie) Kuczmarski of Columbia, Maryland, Mark (Michele) Kuczmarski of Independence; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ed and Agnes “Peggy” Kuczmarski.
Friends may call Thursday from 5-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held on Friday at 9:15AM followed by a 10AM Mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 708 Erie St., Grafton. Rev. John Seabold, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Twp.
