Lorene Campana's Obituary
Lorene M. Campana (nee Draudt), age 81, of Grafton and a former 58-year resident of North Ridgeville, died peacefully in the presence of her family at her home on Tuesday morning, January 29, 2013.
Lorene was born November 15, 1931 in North Olmsted to the late Herbert T. and Ruby G. (nee Harrington) Draudt. She married John T. Campana on September 20, 1952 and he lovingly survives.
Also left to cherish her memory are her children, Ken (Linda) Campana, Barb (Jim) Furr, and Deb (Greg) Campbell; seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and sister-in-law, Donna Draudt.
A brother, Donald Draudt, also preceded her in death.
Lorene worked as a corporate secretary at Dreco Inc. in North Ridgeville, retiring in 1985. She was employed with the North Ridgeville City Utilities Dept. in the 1960's. In her free time, she enjoyed camping, fishing, knitting and cooking. She also bowled in several leagues, was past president of American Legion Post 12 Ladies Auxiliary, and a member of the Elyria Unit 12 Drill Team.
Visitation will be Friday, February 1, 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Pastor David Howell will Officiate. Committal will be private.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
