Lois Wohlever's Obituary
Lois Ann Wohlever (nee Smith), age 78, a resident of Life Care Center of Medina for the past 6 years, formerly of North Ridgeville passed away Tuesday February 9, 2010 at Medina General Hospital following a long illness.
She was born in Elyria and had resided in North Ridgeville most of her life.
Mrs. Wohlever was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.
She graduated from North Ridgeville High School in the class of 1950. She enjoyed woodworking, crafts shows, and bowling. Many years ago she was a den mother for Boy Scouts and leader of Girl Scouts.
She retired in 1995 from Rite Aid Drug Store (formerly Cunningham Drug) in North Ridgeville where she had worked 35 years.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years Leo, daughter Joyce of Huntington twp, son Norm of North Ridgeville, sister, Karen (Tom) Kiser of Penfield Twp. Brothers, Jerry (Gayle) Smith of Twinsburg, Tom (Connie) Smith and Martin (Jean) Smith all of North Ridgeville and a sister-in-law Jennifer Smith (nee Henson) of Elyria.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Dolores Smith, brother Jim Smith and sister Donna Martin.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5-8 PM at David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road N. Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held 9:30 AM Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM Saturday at St. Peter Church. Reverend Bob Franco Pastor will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
