Lois Claus' Obituary
Lois J. Claus (nee Struebe), age 78 of North Ridgeville died Friday, September 2, 2005 at Center Ridge Health Campus, North Ridgeville following a long illness.
She was born May 26, 1927 in Elyria. She had resided in North Ridgeville since 1963.
She was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, North Ridgeville and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 1079.
She volunteered with the Girl Scouts and enjoyed word puzzles, playing cards, baking and working around the house.
During WWII, she had worked at General Industries in Elyria.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Brenda Hooper of Amherst, Linda Claus of North Ridgeville; 2 sons, Allan Claus of North Ridgeville, David Claus of Sheffield Village; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Claus on May 8th of this year, her Parents, Benjamin Carl and Mary Edna Struebe, one son, Richard and infant daughter Patricia Jane Claus.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held 11:30AM Wednesday in the funeral home. Reverend Denver Daniel will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
