Lisa Marie DePrekel-Reeder's Obituary
Lisa Marie DePrekel-Reeder, age 47 of North Ridgeville, OH passed away on September 26, 2024 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Bay City, MI on August 21, 1977 to Randy and Mary DePrekel. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. She was an amazing wife and mother, our biggest bodyguard and supporter. Lisa was sarcastic to the hilt and held onto her humor until the end.
In addition to her parents, Lisa is survived by her loving husband Eric Reeder, children Grant, Logan, and Skylar, favorite and loving sister Missy (Aaron) Eurich and special nephew and nieces Cameron, Claire, and Avery Eurich, dear friend (sister from another mister) Melanie Wood; her mother and father in law Tom and Sharon Reeder; brother in law Chris (Jenny); sister-in-law Shelly and nephew Zachary. She also leaves behind her best friends Rachel Stewart, Nicole Ruppal and Shannon Soper. Lisa will be greatly missed by her beloved aunts and uncles, Gene Turschak, Jack (Nancy) Turschak, Judy (Mark) Joles, Mike Engisch, Sue (Steve) Westerby, Kelly Bills, Nikki Gainforth and Scott DePrekel, as well as many cousins.
She was preceded in death by grandparents Elsie and Gus Turschak and Shirley Hill; aunts Joanne Engisch and Sheri DePrekel; uncle Fred DePrekel.
There will be a memorial mass on Monday, September 30, 2024 at St. Peter Catholic Church 35777 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville, OH 44039, beginning at 11am. Fr. Bob Franco will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Peter School Endowment Fund https://stpetereducationendowment.org/donate or a charity of their choice.
