Linda Sue Vest's Obituary
Linda Sue Vest (nee McKenzie), age 80, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024, at St. John Medical Center in Westlake.
She was born in Ashland, Kentucky and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 2023 moving from Cleveland, where she lived for most of her life.
She loved flower gardening, bird watching, word puzzles, and listening to country and gospel music. Survivors include her children, Billy Ray Vest of Provo, Utah, Barbara Sue Walker of Akron, Gary (Bonnie) Vest of Streetsboro, grandchildren, Melenda (Michael) Smigelski, with whom she made her home, of North Ridgeville, Kelly (Cade) Jeric, Matthew (Holly) Vest, Robert (Shae) Walker, James Walker, great-grandchildren, Grace Vest, Ethan Vest, Willow Walker, Vivian Vest and Lilah Vest.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Ray Vest, mother, Lena Mae Green and father, Morton McKenzie, 5 sisters, and 2 brothers.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 26, 2024 from 5-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where services will be held on Tuesday at 11AM. Rev. Jason Keith will officiate.
Burial will follow at Ridgeville Cemetery.
