Linda Sue Marker's Obituary
Linda Sue Marker (nee Proffitt), age 70, of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the University Hospital Parma Medical Center after a sudden illness.
She was born on December 15, 1950 in Elkridge, West Virginia and has been a resident of Cleveland for the past 45 years. Linda worked as a quality control supervisor at Arrow International, retiring in 2013 after 37 years of service. In her free time, she loved cooking for her family, watching soap operas and spending time with her grandson. Every Friday would find her on a “date night” with her significant other, Kenny.
She is survived by her loving partner of 27 years, Kenny Hartwell; daughter Tresa “Tessie” (Eric) Young; grandson Michael Young; brothers Glenn, Larry and Jeff Proffitt; sister Jane (Joel) Heatwole; many nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Martin and Florence Proffitt; siblings Martin Proffitt, Shelby Elkins, Roy Proffitt, Carol Proffitt, Rosetta Stevens and Jerry Proffitt.
Funeral Service Wednesday at 12:00 noon in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Rev. Alan Jenkins will officiate. Interment will be in Ridgeville Cemetery, N. Ridgeville.
