Linda M. Lagina's Obituary
Linda M. Lagina (nee Sas), age 77, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019, at St. Mary of the Woods in Avon. She was born on June 17, 1941 in Cleveland and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 50 years, moving from Cleveland. She was a founding member of St. Julie Billiart Church.
Linda enjoyed playing bingo and the slot machines. She was an avid reader and enjoyed embroidery and cooking for her family. The summer months would find her working in her garden.
Survivors include her sons Joseph F. Jr. of North Ridgeville, Michael (Michelle) of North Ridgeville; daughters Christine Klingshirn of North Ridgeville, Margaret Russell of Avon, Dorothy (Rich) Dickson of Avon Lake, Karen (Craig) Schlund of North Ridgeville; grandchildren Jessica, Matthew, Alex, Hailey, Molly, David, Meghan, Sean, Brooke, Natalie and Summer; sister Diane Kopacz of Brimfield Township.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph; son David; parent Stephen and Dorothy (nee Smalley) Sas; brother Bob Sas.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 1-5 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville, where a prayer service will be held at 11 AM Monday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 AM at St. Julie Billiart Church, 5500 Lear Nagle Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. George Vrabel will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4500 Rockside Road, Independence, OH 44131.
