Lila Phillips' Obituary
Lila Jean Phillips (nee Baker), age 73, of North Ridgeville, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2011 at New Life Hospice Residential Center, Lorain.
She was born in Elyria and had been a resident of North Ridgeville all her life.
Lila was a member of Sugar Ridge Baptist Church in North Ridgeville for over 30 years.
She enjoyed crocheting.
Survivors include her husband, James; sons, James (Charlotte) of Graceland, KY, Leonard (Una) of Lorain; daughters, Diana Hunter of Elyria, Dawn Bryant of Elyria; 15 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandsons; and her sister, Beatrice McWell of Lexington, KY.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Nelson; son-in-law, Gerome Hunter, brothers, Leslie, Homer, Roy, Leon and Allen Baker; sisters, Eleanor, Thelma, Gerry, Lavern, Edith Phillips and Edna Casper; parents, Albert and Mattie Baker.
Friends may call Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. A Funeral Service will be held at Sugar Ridge Baptist Church, 36600 Sugar Ridge Road, North Ridgeville on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 11 AM. The Reverend Michael Manosky will officiate.
Burial will be in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
