Lila Friedner's Obituary
Lila June Friedner (nee Armstrong), age 78 of North Ridgeville, passed away Monday, December 15, 2008, at Southwest General Hospital, following a long illness.
She was born in Columbus, Ohio and grew up in Greenville, South Carolina. She moved to North Ridgeville in 1994 from Cleveland.
Mrs. Friedner was an active member of Fields United Methodist Church, North Ridgeville, where she was involved with the Young at Heart Senior Group and also sang in the choir.
She enjoyed reading and collecting American Bald Eagle statues.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Francis "Mike"; sons, Alan of Columbus, Barry of North Ridgeville; grandchildren, Eric of Watauga, Texas, Jeremy (Sarah) of Katy, Texas; great-grandchildren, Alexis and Kaitlyn both of Katy, Texas and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Geraldine Armstrong and sister, Eileen Armstrong.
Friends may call Wednesday from 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville and also Thursday from 10:00AM until the time of services at 11:00 at Fields United Methodist Church, 34077 Lorain Rd., North Ridgeville, OH 44039. Rev. Dr. Jim McClaren, Pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
