Lewis Hamula's Obituary
Lewis J. Hamula, age 70, of North Ridgeville, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at his home, following a long illness.
He was born in Elmira, New York and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for 22 years.
He worked in the Shipping and Receiving department for Meriam Instruments for many years, retiring in 2007.
Lewis was a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals and Eagles Club 941 in Elmira.
He enjoyed bowling (was great at it) and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa; former wife, Pat Thorne; son, Michael Hamula of Elmira; daughters, Diane Hamula of Geneseo, Melissa (Jeffry) Devon of Oxford, Massachusetts, Amanda Hamula of North Ridgeville; step-sons, Richard Solometo of Elmira, Anthony Solometo (Tracy Sherrer) of Horseheads, New York; 5 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lillian Hamula.
Friends may call Sunday from 2PM until the time of Service at 5 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Jeff Sweitzer will officiate. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Spring in Elmira, New York.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119.
