Leslie Konesky's Obituary
Leslie C. Konesky, age 66, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the St. John Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Cleveland and has been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1970, moving from Cleveland.
Leslie was a mechanic for the City of North Ridgeville service garage for 13 years. He had previously worked as a mechanic at the Great Northern Sears for 25 years. Leslie also served as an auxiliary police officer with the North Ridgeville Police Department for a number of years. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Beverly (nee Marcy); daughters Brenda (Eugene) Byrne of Avon and Janet (Keith) Koberna of North Ridgeville; son Mark (Tracy Curran) Konesky of North Ridgeville; 9 grandchildren; brother Stanley Konesky Jr. of Strongsville; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Mary (nee Mohnickey) Konesky; brothers, Ray, Charles and Andrew Konesky; and sisters Ann Lewis, Louise Masko and Rose Behrend.
Friends will be received on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held on Saturday, 11:30 AM. A 12 Noon Mass will follow at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
Interment to follow in St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
