LeRoy R. Dias' Obituary
LeRoy R. Dias, age 77, of North Ridgeville, went home to be with the love of his life on Monday, October 15, 2018 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center.
He was born in Pennsylvania and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1969.
He served in the US Army and worked as an electrician for Higgins Electric and South Shore Electric, where he retired from in 2001.
LeRoy was an avid Steelers fan, enjoyed coaching baseball and driving his SSR.
Survivors include his son, Thomas (Dawn) of Columbia Station; grandchildren, Kyle and Rebecca Dias.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carole (nee Frable); son, Richard Dias in 2002; his parents; brothers, Ron and Jack; sisters, Faye Laich and Cass Ashbaugh.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4-7PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Thursday at 1PM in the funeral home. Pastor Paul Pater will officiate.
Private burial will be at Fields Cemetery in North Ridgeville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
