Lena Willis' Obituary
Lena Willis, (nee Malone) 80 of Columbia Station, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2005 at her home after a long illness.
She was born March 10, 1925 in Blackfork, OH. She had been a resident of Columbia Station since 2002. Prior to that she had lived in North Ridgeville for fifty years.
Mrs. Willis worked in the deli department for the Elyria Tops Grocery stores for eleven years, retiring in 2002. She also drove a school bus and the North Ridgeville Senior Center mini bus.
Lena enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, John and Mark, both of Elyria; a daughter, Lynn Roth of Columbia Station; and a sister, Mildred Sargent of Cleveland; five grandchildren; and one great- grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband John in 1966; parents Fred and Maude Malone (nee Jones); and four brothers, Clifton, Hershel , Clarence, and Emery Malone..
Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9, Sunday, December 4 at the at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville, where services will be held at 11 AM Monday, with Reverend Michael Manosky of Sugar Ridge Baptist Church officiating.
Interment will follow in the Ridgeville Cemetery.
