Lawrence "Larry" Casper Sr.'s Obituary
Lawrence J. “Larry” Casper Sr., age 84, passed away January 1, 2016 at his home in North Ridgeville.
He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1939.
Larry was a millwright and a maintenance supervisor for 38 years at Ford Motor Company in Brookpark, until he retired in 1991, and served in the United States Army from 1953-1955.
He was a graduate of North Ridgeville High School before serving a four year apprenticeship as a millwright. Larry was an avid fisherman and hunter, and enjoyed camping.
Survivors include his children, Debrah (Richard) Reynolds of Elyria and Lawrence (Diane) Casper Jr. of North Ridgeville; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Casper of Pikeville, Tn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna (nee Baker) Casper in 2005; daughter, Charlene Casper, parents, August and Alice Casper; brother, Earl Casper and Robert Casper; sisters, Emma Welch and Ruth Mansfield.
Friends may call Monday from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday January 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Rev. Sam Williams will officiate.
Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
