Lavinia Hill's Obituary
Lavinia L. Hill (nee Bell), 72 of New Philadelphia, OH died Saturday January 19, 2008 at Center Ridge Health Campus, North Ridgeville, following a long illness.
Mrs. Hill was born on March 17, 1935 in Blairsville, PA. She raised her family in Granger Twp., Medina and had resided in New Philadelphia with her daughter for the past three years.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her two sons, Christopher (Christine) of Galena, OH and Robert (Elizabeth) of Virginia Beach; daughter, Lorraine Rau (Ken) of New Philadelphia; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Kenneth Bell of Williamsfield, OH and James Bell of Buffalo, NY and two sisters, Ellen Hill of Columbia Station and Linda Pacanosky of Cleveland. Additionally, she was the loving aunt, sister-in-law and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 2002, her sister Cynthia and brother, William.
Family will receive friends Monday from 5-8PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where services will be held at 9:30AM Tuesday. Bob Miller will be the officiant. Interment will follow at Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
In lieu of flowers it is requested that donations be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Ave. Cleveland, OH 44102 or the Make A Wish Foundation, The Hanna Bldg. 1422 Euclid Ave. Cleveland, OH 44195.
