Laura R. Smith's Obituary
Laura R. Smith, age 58, of Oberlin, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Keystone Pointe in Lagrange. She was born in Lakewood and had been a resident of North Ridgeville until moving to Echoing Lake/Nord Home in Oberlin in 2001. She worked at Murray Ridge Oberlin Work Shop. Laura was a former member of St. Peter Church. She loved listening to music, singing karaoke, and being with family. Survivors include her brother Jeff (Pat) Smith of Jacksonville, FL; sisters Linda (Ronald) Slone of Franklin, OH, Amy (Tom) Hutchings of Brunswick; 2 nephews; 1 niece; 1 great nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Terese (nee Gillespie) Smith. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 23 from 8:30 AM until a prayer service at 9:30 AM, at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 AM at St. Peter Church. Rev. Bob Franco, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon. Memorial contributions will be distributed to Laura's charities via Amy Hutchings, 627 Marks Rd Unit H, Brunswick, OH 44212. Please contact Amy for further details.
