Laura Jones' Obituary
Laura Anna Jones (nee Ramsey), age 80, of Grafton, died Monday at her home, following a brief illness.
She was born in Rainelle, West Virginia and had been a resident of Grafton for 48 years.
Mrs. Jones worked as a waitress at Wagner's Country Inn in Westlake for 20 years.
She was a member of the Democratic Women's Club and the Eastern Star's.
She enjoyed playing bingo, bowling and antiques.
Survivors include her husband , Thurman J. Jones, Sr.; son, Thurman Jones Jr. of Grafton; daughter, Ada Burke of Amherst; brother, Glen Ramsey of Lake George, Michigan; step-sister, Muriel Goodnite of Cabin Creek, West Virginia; god-daughter, Glenda Sue Cavanaugh of Centerline, Michigan; nephew, Mack Fleshman of Rainelle, West Virginia; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dora (nee Vance) and Claude Ramsey; sisters, Mattie Fleshman, Margaret Brown, Della Wiley; brother Harry Vance Ramsey and half-brother Rural Ramsey.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2:30PM until the time of services at 6:30PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Buelah Knieriem, Pastor of Litchfield Church of Christ will officiate.
Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11:00AM at Rainelle Cemetery, in West Virginia .
