Laura DiFilippo-Schubert's Obituary
Laura A. DiFilippo-Schubert (nee Stazzone), 50, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the Anchor Lodge in Lorain.
Laura was born on January 20, 1961 in Elyria and remained in the area through her student and adult life. She was a proud member of the New Hope Light House Apostolic Church. Laura was happiest when she was with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Erik) Green of Chester Springs, PA, and Karissa Schubert of Dallas, TX; sons, Jonathon (Amanda) Schubert of Elyria and David Schubert of Richfield; grandchildren, Elias, Leah, Olivia and Hope; and brothers, Mike and Dave. Predeceased by her mother Phyllis Clark.
Friends will be received at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville on Tuesday from 5 – 8 PM. A funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 11 AM. The Reverend Knox Handkins will officiate. Interment to follow at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Glorious Assemblies, Elyria; New Hope Light House Apostolic Church, Grafton; Calvary Apostolic Church, Elyria or Abundant Life Church, Elyria, would be appreciated by the family.
