Larry A. Steffl Sr.'s Obituary
Larry Allen Steffl Sr., age 76, of Elyria, passed away on March 11, 2018 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center after a sudden illness.
He was born on May 8, 1941 in Wheeling, WV and has been a resident of Elyria for the past 13 years, moving from Amherst. He worked at Gray Drug, Nordson Corporation and the Amherst School District. He was a 50 year Mason in the Tuscarawas Lodge 59 in Dover, Ohio.
Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading western novels and loved cooking and feeding people.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Marilyn; daughter Vicki (Ken) Rumpler of Columbia Station; sons Leonard (Mark) Stupak of Deltona, FL, Larry (Carole) Steffl of Waynesburg, Craig (Cindy) Steffl of Bolivar and Travis (Michelle) Steffl of Dover; grandchildren Allen, Lyndi, Chase, Jessica, Cody, Kamryn, Kailyn and Kadeyn; 1 great grandchild on the way.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Alma Leah (nee Ulrich) Steffl; sister Sherry Civinski.
Memorial Service Friday, March 16th at 7:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. Until time of service. Rev. Jeff Connley will officiate. Masonic Service at 6:45 p.m.
