Larry A Barker's Obituary
Larry A. Barker, age 73, of Conneaut, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022, at his niece’s home. He was born in Charleston, WV and had been a resident of Conneaut for the last 3 years, formerly of Elyria. He worked as Corewash Attendant for Ford Motor since 1968, retiring in 2014. Larry was a member of the US Navy and a veteran of the Vietnam War. He belonged to UAW Local 1250 in Brookpark and was a Deacon at Christian Unity Church. He enjoyed camping, gardening, and church activities. Larry is survived by his brothers Roger Barker, Darris Barker and Ricky Jones of Bomont, WV; niece Wendy Nugent of Conneaut; sister-in-law Judy Watterlond of Henderson, NV; brother-in-law Bruce Weaver of Conneaut; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda in 2020; father John A. Barker. Visitation Monday, December 12, 2022 from 5 – 7 pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Funeral service Tuesday at 12 pm in the funeral home. Pastor Neil Brock will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon with full military honors.
