Kimberlee L. Vandrasik's Obituary
Kimberlee L. Vandrasik, age 49, of Grafton Twp. passed away suddenly Thursday, September 26, 2013 at EMH Regional Medical Center in Elyria after being stricken at home.
She was born July 29, 1964 in Anaheim, California and grew up in Georgia. She had been a resident of Grafton Twp. since 1997 moving from Lakewood.
Kimberlee worked a registered nurse for the Lorain County Correctional Facility for over 12 years. She was a member of Charity Bible Church in Eaton Twp. and previously had been the youth group leader at Lakewood United Methodist Church. Kim enjoyed watching her daughter’s soccer games, scrapbooking, traveling, event planning and decorating.
Survivors include her daughter, Olivia M. Vandrasik; sister, Kari (Jim) Goldston of Mentor; brothers, Brandon Schell of Cincinnati, Patrick Schell of Indianapolis; nieces, Julie, Leah and Lyla; nephews, Nick, Jason, Chris, Justin, Peter and Ben; father-in-law, Donald Vandrasik.
She was preceded in death by her husband Michael, who passed away this past April; parents, Jacob and Martha Schell and mother-in-law, Sarah Vandrasik.
Friends are invited to visit on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where a memorial service to celebrate Kim’s life will be held 11 AM Wednesday. The Rev. Tim Flurry will officiate with committal services to follow at West Park Cemetery, Cleveland.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Olivia Vandrasik Benevolent Fund for her education in care of any First Merit Bank.
