Kim Pursel's Obituary
Kim L. Pursel (nee Herne), age 38, of Elyria, died Monday morning at EMH Regional Medical Center, following a long illness.
She was born December 21, 1966 in Newark, OH
She had been a resident of Elyria since 1997; having moved from Ducannon, PA.
She was a member and very active in the Jesus Christ Community Church, Elyria.
Kim enjoyed reading and playing jokes on her friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Hannah M. Pursel, at home; her parents, Phillip G. and Linda J. (nee Placer) Herne; sisters, Crystal Helms, of Purcellville, VA, Mary (Bill) Fraley, of Laurelville, OH, Kathleen( Mel) Morris, of Logan, OH and Tonya (Shawn) Herne-Hapanowicz, of Avon, OH; brother, Kenneth (Jean) Herne, of Chesapeake Beach, MD
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 AM at the Jesus Christ Community Church, 1420 South Abbe Road, Elyria, OH. The Reverend Gene Collins will officiate.
David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, OH is taking care of all arrangements.
