Kevin P. Dougherty's Obituary
Kevin P. Dougherty, age 65, of Columbia Station, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014.
He was born on December 27, 1948 in Cleveland Ohio and had lived in Columbia Station since 2000, moving from North Olmsted.
He had worked as a Chemical Engineer for Burgess and Niple, Inc. and the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District.
Kevin was an amateur radio operator, a member of the American Radio Relay League, and the Alpha Chi Sigma professional chemistry fraternity. He enjoyed computer programming, radio controlled airplanes, playing guitar, Irish folk music, and Cleveland sports.
Kevin is survived by his sons Michael Dougherty of Cleveland, Bryan (Jami) Dougherty of Chicago, and Mark Dougherty of Lakewood; grandsons Colin and Cormac Dougherty of Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his parents Denny and Martha (nee Dugan) Dougherty; brother Dale Dougherty.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville on Friday 6-8 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, December 27 at 1:00 p.m.
at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 25801 Royalton Rd., Columbia Station, 44028 (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Rev. Charles J. Ryba will officiate. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland.
