Kevin Patrick Blake's Obituary
Kevin Patrick Blake, age 68, passed away at his home surrounded by family on Saturday, January 21, 2023. He was born in Cleveland, OH and was a resident of Grafton for the past 30 years. Raised in North Olmsted, Kevin was a graduate of St. Ignatius High School, class of 1972. Kevin was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Elyria and Our Lady Queen of Peace in Grafton. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, listening to Irish music, and spending time with his family. He attended Xavier University and The Ohio State University and held a lifelong career as the owner of multiple businesses including landscaping, a sportsman shop, and construction. He is survived by his wife Connie (nee Suta), daughters Caitlin Blake and Erin (Donnie) Ramsey, son Dr. Peter Blake, granddaughter Marlowe Ramsey, siblings Eileen Blake, Mary Ann Dolan, Michael Blake, and James Blake, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Patricia (nee Jeffries) Blake. Friends may call on Thursday January 26, 2023, from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville. On Friday, January 27, 2023 there will be a Funeral Mass at 10AM St. Jude Catholic Church, 590 Poplar St, Elyria. Father Frank Kosem will be the celebrant.
Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery North Ridgeville.
