Kenneth Miller's Obituary
Kenneth W. Miller, age 77, of Elyria, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at EMH Regional Medical Center, following a lengthy illness.
Born in Wooster, he was a resident of Elyria since 2002, moving from North Ridgeville where he had lived for 33 years.
Kenneth was a sergeant in the US Army during the Korean War.
He worked as a tow motor operator for General Motors for 20 years, retiring in 1989.
He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 780, St. Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville, Holy Name Society, 32nd Degree Member of Lagrange Masonic Lodge #399, and Loyal Order of the Moose, Elyria and former member of North Ridgeville VFW Post 9871.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting model automobiles.
Survivors include his wife, Judith (nee Diederich); son, Robert of North Ridgeville; daughters, Angela of Elyria, Carolyn (Wayne) Patchin of Elyria, Kimberly Connor of Wooster and 4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Bertha Miller; brother, Homer Miller; sisters, Monna Mae Leighty, Margaret Hider, Carrie Moses and Ada Lawrence.
Friends may call Friday, August 20, 2010 from 5-8 P.M. at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where a prayer service will begin at 9:30 A.M. Saturday, August 21, 2010 followed by his funeral mass at 10 A.M. at St. Peter Catholic Church 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Fr. Bob Franco, pastor will officiate.
Private burial will take place in St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
