Kenneth "Ken" R Grundy's Obituary
Kenneth R. “Ken” Grundy, age 65, of Elyria, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 after a brief illness.
He was born on September 17, 1955 in Berea, grew up in North Ridgeville and has lived in Elyria for the past 39 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving as a Gunners Mate on the USS Lawrence.
Ken was the owner of KLB Automation, where he worked as an electrical engineer, retiring in 2018.
He enjoyed woodworking, and the summer months would find him out on the golf course.
Ken is survived by his wife Lynn (nee Schultz); daughter Brittney Grundy of FL; mother Devona Grundy of North Ridgeville; brother Kevin (Jeanne) Grundy of San Diego; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Grundy; sister Dawn Huber.
Funeral Services Thursday, May 20 at 7:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of service. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate. Interment will be private. Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, face coverings and proper social distancing will be required at all times. Military honors will be conducted by V.F.W. Post 9871, North Ridgeville. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Ken’s name to New Life Hospice, 3500 Kolbe Road, Lorain, OH 44053.
