Kenneth E. "Ken" Morgan's Obituary
Kenneth E. “Ken” Morgan, age 79, of LaGrange, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at The Elms Retirement Village in Wellington.
He was born in Buena Vista, Ohio and had been a resident of LaGrange since 1977 moving from Cleveland, where he lived until the early 1960’s. He was raised in Portsmouth.
Ken worked as a truck driver for Cleveland Air Cargo for many years.
He enjoyed golfing, woodworking and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Gary of Lorain, Nadine “Lori” (Timothy) Hackney of LaGrange, Scott of Akron; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Winston (Linda) of LaGrange sister, Shirley Fritz of Portsmouth.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Pearl (nee Ratliff) in 2003; daughter, Beverly Kay Morgan; brothers, Herman, Franklin, Marvin and Forest Morgan; sisters, Helen Shively, Lorena Brown and Geneva Randall; granddaughter, Shannon Morgan; parents, Ottie S. and Ella V. (nee Davis) Morgan.
Friends may call Friday from 4-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Saturday at 12 Noon in the funeral home. Rev. Michael Davis will officiate.
Burial will be in River Rd. Cemetery.
